I haven't even had surgery yet, but I am hoping to have it done soon - as soon as my 6 months are up! I have great insurance - so I am hoping the process moves quickly.
Anyway, I know that I will one day want to have plastics. I can remember losing 80+ lbs after my daughter, and my poor wrinkly thighs and belly! that was going from 250 down to 165 (I'm pretty stout - and I USED to be 5'5". I wore a size 10 at 170!)
Anyway - I am 300lbs exactly how, and will probably be pretty darn close to that at surgery - unfortunetly, the only thing that tends to work for me is Atkins. Right now, during my supervised visits, I am on 1500-1600Kcal a day of a well balanced, low fat diet per my PCP's recommendations. With diet and exercise and changing my behaviors - I've just stopped gaining any weight. Oh well.

ANYWAY - I am thinking that when the weight is lost, I will need to have plastics.
How much can be done at one time? I think I will need a circumferencial abdominal lift/tuck, and most likely my thighs / booty as well. I'm worried that at the weight I am at now - the arms will have to be delt with. They already bother me!!
Anyway - what has everyone done at one time? I hate going through anesthesia and taking major time off work. If I have to have that stuff - wouldn't it be great to break it into a as few breaks as possible?
It feels good to dream! On one hand it feels good to think about the future - but on the other hand, I feel like I will be needing a major overhaul! ahhh!!! Maybe I'll be worse looking AFTER surgery!!! In the end this is all about being healthy - but its fun to look at your before and after pics on this forum and all the CUTE CLOTHES!!
I hate the anesthesia too Prickly Pear. I had breasts & tt in one surgery then revisions of that and lower body/thigh lift later. I have pics on my blog Lapband - 7yrs Later if you wanna find out more. You sound like a 'planner' like me - you know what you want & you make it happen. I dream too, then execute it (eventually!) All the best

I saw a PS yesterday. He told me that a brest lift and the abdominal plasty/TT would have to be done at different times. I did not ask why, but plan on having all questions answered at the next appointment. Yesterday was more like a meet and greet. We went over what needs to be done and how we planned on submitting to the insurance company, etc. I HOPE AND PRAY that they cover a brest lift and the abdominal plasty, I need them more than any words can express!! I am sick of looking at myself weighing 138 in the mirror and thinking I still look like 240 with all of this skin.....
I also LOVE grandma Rose's idea. Hey maybe we can start our own nip and tuck one stop shop???? LOL!!!

I think it's a personal choice on the surgeon if they feel comfortable doing it at one time. If they feel the TT will be more extensive, maybe he wants to do 2 surgeries to ensure your healthy!

A friend of my aunt had a TT/breast lift at the same time. She was out of her mind in pain! She stated that if she did it again, it would be in 2 surgeries but that is just 1 opinion.

Talk with your surgeon on his reasoning and ask if there is an option to do it at the same time.

Having said that, I took a peak at your pics and you look great!! =)
