Default Extended Adminoplasty 01/30/09

Finally - extended adminoplasty scheduled after five years out from GBS. I've fought with my insurance company for over a year now. (Denied three times.) Since, I've saved and will now be having a much needed tummy tuck. My WLS journey has gone great. I exercise daily, and watch my carbs. I've managed to stay right around 160 pounds. (Hoping to loose a few pounds after the tummy tuck.) I've taken two weeks off from work. Unlike my GBS, I've decided not to tell anyone in the office. A co-workers wife recently underwent plastics, and he shared with the group. Everyone had something negative to say, and I really don't need and/or want their opinions. I've worked so hard to tone up and maintain my weigh loss. I'm ecstatic! Next on the list, new perky twins! (Thank goodness for push-up padded bras!)

Totally agree with not telling anyone in the office (especially in SD). Plastics have such a negative perception surrounding it but screw it. You are doing it for you, not for anyone else.
