Oh that would be great veroniquetalk! I would like to see pictures because honestly I dont know many people who have had the arm or thigh lifts.
How long ago did you have it done?
I actually contemplated getting some things done before I ever considered having GB surgery.. and that may have been a bad idea as well because whenever I lost any weight I wasnt able to keep it all off! I lost 77 lbs once before and as soon I lost it, I gained the weight right back. And was never able to loose again. Thats why I considered this wls.

My sister actually got her insurance to pay for a TT and inner thigh lift (the kind with the scar that is vertical on the inside of your thighs). She had to document the problems caused by having excess skin in both areas. For the thighs she told of how her inner thighs rubbed together and she would get horrible sores from it, how the skin got in the way during sex and she avoided it because of that, how the skin would sometimes get pinched under the toilet seat (not to be too graphic - just giving people some ideas of how to get insurance to cover it). She had letter from both her dr and her counselor.

By the time I had my belt lipectomy (also called a lower body lift) and breast lift done, believe me, I didn't care about scars. And at this point, the scars are small enough that if I'm wearing a bikini - you can't see them. Check out my album, you'll see the before and after there. And those afters are from about 4 months out...maybe 6, I can't remember, but they look even better now after 15 months. It is NOTHING compared to the hanging skin!!

ANd yes, my insurance paid for the pannulectomy (skin in the front) but I paid for the rest.

Good luck and honestly, this is the least of your worries...

Thanks Gina.. you have made me alittle less nervous about the scars. I hardley ever heard people say they are happy with the scars and how much they have faded and how little of a problem they are.. and thats what I was looking for.
You look great in youre pictures and I'd love to see some pics of your scars now.. im just so curious as to how they actually look when theyve faded alot.

Yeah Marie I sen youre tattoo and it looks great!
Im so going to do that myself get tattoos to cover up any scars from PS.
And if I have a tt i want to make sure the surgeon will cut evenly around so that way i can actually cover the whole scar with a tatoo. Yours seems to cover nicely!
