Default Revision

For those of you that have followed my story...I am going in on my RNY 2 year Anniversary for a revision on my implants. I swore I wouldn't do another surgery, however, my implants decided it for me.

By no fault of my surgeon or myself...the stupid little (large) buggers have decided they didn't appreciate being pushed down into their pocket, so have instead decided to migrate to my armpits. They just slipped, and keep on slipping to the sides. This of course is a side effect of the proceedure, one that I would get considering I can't seem to have any surgery without some sort of side effect.

So, on June 5th, I go back into the OR to have these puppies removed, scar tissue scraped, implants repositioned and sutures put in on the side to keep them from slippin' again. (He's also going to go ahead and add the MAX amount of volume for my implants...just cuz I asked...) Sooo...after bragging about not having a single visible scar on my ta-ta's and showing pics of the pair all over this board, they are tagged for repair.

If you are looking at my Surgeon for Plastics...please remember this was not a surgical mistake...or one that I caused. Just some stupid thing that can go wrong...and would of course happen to me if there was something that could go wrong!!!

I will keep you all posted in the mean time. I will also add before and afters...AGAIN!

(Is it just me, or is it nearly impossible to type any sort of answer or comment without taking up at least 3/4ths of a page? Apparently, my words create novels....wish I could learn to think in short stories!! )

Thumbs up

You are not alone, ZenBear! I can't give a short answer either. My 'attagrrls' end up taking most of a page....

I'm sorry to hear of your implants attempting to work their way around your body, Laura. So you're gonna have them filled to the max? We'll have to change your Bear name to RackBear! Speaking as one who is thrilled to give up an extraordinarily huge pair of (water)melons, good luck with that! You do whatever feels best for you, honey, and enjoy your new figure!

Ahhh, Laura...sounds like it is revision time for you and me, babe!! Hmmm...what's the deal between the 2 of us, can't we ever do something without the other following suit?

Seriously though, my dear. I know how you are feeling about going back for more surgery. I know I wasn't totally prepared for that fact either but for me it wasn't totally unexpected either.

Think of me on April 29 and I'll be doing the same for you when your day comes.

*crossing fingers* Hopefully this will be the last one for both of us!

Zen you continually kill me with your words you are so funny! I'm sorry your little gals have "moved" to the side. I've never heard of that happening. God i'm sorry. But hey at least you can have some new hot looking boobies (as my 3 year old would call them) hope you dont have ANY side effects this time
