Hey - I know I know!!! (Raises hand in air, waving) I had my plastics done very early - I had slowed down my weight loss and thought I had about 25 pounds to go (of course, my goal has changed since then, so its more) but for me, I was being limited in my mobility - ie I couldn't run or bike well, which was keeping me from losing more weight. Ironic, no?

Anyway - my surgeon insisted that if I lost, even 30 pounds, slowly - that I'd still be looking good. And so far he's been right. He said that at least, I wouldn't have anything hanging or sagging, even if it wasn't as tight, but actually - it is staying very tight. I had the surgery at 175, went down to 165 within a month afterwards (9ish pounds of skin)and have lost another 8ish pounds since surgery. I have about 22-27 to go (would have been more like 13 if I hadn't changed my goal - but that is another story) and frankly, the way it is looking - I'm just not worried. My skin is adjusting to every pound and boy can I see them!!

FYI- I had a belt lipectomy and mastoplexy. I am going to be getting implants soon, but I had wanted to wait to see what I looked like at goal before I got them. I didn't want to end up looking like a porn star. Well, not too much like a porn star anyway...

Awesome, Gina! Thanks so much for answering.

Rock on then. I'm sure they'll be more willing to do the boobs before the weight loss if they object at all, so I might just get those done first. My tummy really does bother me though. I think I would look WAY better both in and out of clothes if I took care of that.

So thanks, that's good to know!
