Mine was more but I had a full body lift front and back. To be honest my TT was much eaiser than WLS. Yeah it was painful the first day but not bad after that. Good luck to you.

That might be true but let me tell you I was a BIG baby when I had WLS. In fact when the nurse came in to make me walk I told her to get the hell outta my room, because I wasn't walking I was in pain. She left she was a tiny woman and her I was 300 pounds yelling at her. I hope that your recovery is quick and easy!

The price sounds fair. As for the pain.....I had full TT, chin, and breasts all done on the same day. It was painful for sure, but I think easier still than the bypass. For me, the pain was more "understandable" for lack of a better word. It was pain in obvious incisions that healed as you'd expect. For me, the bypass had a weird, guts rearranged, life changing, hormone changing feel to it. For me, that was much harder than pain our brain comprehends easier. Does anyone else know what I mean?

It was excruciating
To be totally honest with you, it was excruciating. Even tho I knew it would be painful I had no idea how painful. Even 2 months later, with a flat belly, I can truly say if I had known I would not have had it done-I would have just had the panniculectomy. No idea about the costs, ins paid for mine but it does vary a lot from doc to doc, as does recovery time both in and out of hospital.

I;m not sure about the price, Tim--I had a TT and breast lift together and it was like $9200 or something like that. I think your price is in the ballpark, but estimates are free--check out another surgeon to be sure.
I think plastics over all are a little cheaper here in Cali--I always joke that in CA when you "have work done" you get a punch card, and after 12 procedures your next lift, suck, implant, or revision is free! Well, it's not really such a joke...
Anyhow, good luck to you on Monday!

Dang...here in Ohio they charge a "consultation fee". If you have a surgery they deduct it from your cost. So for me, I used a doc that people I knew already used. My price was comparable to other places, but I would go for rep before worrying about cost.
