What are the expected? plastics one would have?
I don't know why I am even thinking about this yet, but it's probably because I want to know what to research. What would be a normal progression of plastics? I am working my arms and legs really hard and already see the results via resistance training. I don't expect to need thigh or bat wing revision. But, my core, especially flabby ass stomach, is going to need work. I also am developing a case of the sagging moobs. Thoughts from the experts?????

Please people...respond to this thread! My belly button's already winking when I walk and my moobs shake and shimmy when I don't want them too.
Also, I'm doing all kinds of cardio, at least 3 times a week, sometimes more. Why is my butt turning into the consistency of Jello?

Dude, I am doing cardio and resistance. Booty not jello yet (NOR WILL IT EVER BE! Damn the Jello). Arms and legs starting to tone, guns especially, and pecs getting nice and hard. Do very light weights, 2 sets 15/12 reps. Upper body and lower. No care yet.

Per John's advice, I dropped a lot of the resistance stuff to concentrate on cardio. I'm still doing arms to avoid batwing syndrome...and it's starting to work. I do medium range weights 12-15 reps and at least 3 sets, sometimes more if I'm not burning too bad. I can feel a difference in my chest definitely, but only because the moobs moved out of the way. At the rate I'm going, you'll be able to draw a horizontal line connecting my belly button and my nipples. (Isn't nipples a great word? My wife hates it...)
With the resistance too, the large fat hump on my back has disappeared, thank God! The back of my neck and the top of my back used to look like a pack of hot dogs were implanted under the skin...that's totally gone now!
I'm also noticing definition in my forearms--what the hell? I've not been defined with any muscular feature in over a decade!
I'm having a little thigh trouble though, but I've got varicose veins on the left side at my knee. Who knows how that will play out. Most of my shorts are knee length anyway and my calves are looking smokin' hot. So unless somebody's all up in my bidness...I don't think you'll be able to tell...

At almost 52, my skin hasn't been kind but I truly hope that exercising has lessened the problem.
My boobs are now nothing more than lemons in socks. I have arm flaps but nothing that bothers me too much. Below the waist is the worst - my stomach in particular.
But I'm with Tricare Prime and the only thing they'll take care of is the dog jowl stomach flap. I already have a history of infections under the gut - my weight loss has made the condition worse.
Other than the stomach (the skin infections are yuk), I haven't really thought about further surgeries.
This is all still new to me and I'm still enjoying things like not having to buy big girls clothes now (you know the kind - polyester with elasticated waists! ).

at least you have lemons Corrine!!!! Mine are 2 empty tube sock looking things. Thank God for push up bras from Victoria's Secret. I have had a TT and thigh lift. Just had the thighs revised a couple weeks ago. Will have brachioplasty later this year. The most common thing I see people really need and not just want is the TT. Boob come in 2nd. Basically filling out for women and flattening out for men. I think more people would get arms and thighs done if they could afford it. Then there are those that don't have much problem in those areas or it's not bad enough that they want to get it fixed. At least with men, you can really build up the muscle in the arms and thighs. I guess women can too but I don't want huge upper arms and thighs. I know they brought back the American Gladiators but that's not a career move I'm looking to make. Oh my back kinda looks like a package of hot dogs but it's not really seen in clothes so that's something I can live with. But living in NC, I like to wear sleeveless shirts in the hot weather so the arms gots to go. Sue

I went to some resistance right away. Especially upper body - Arms, chest and back and lower body. I know it probably takes 6 months to really heal inside, so I don't want to work the core yet, but the resistance is what I really like. I am doing the cardio (30-40 min treadmill) on the same nights and am going to start doing yoga on the off nights. My arms and chest are really starting to get HARD. No major gunnage yet, but nice and toned (No wing hang and I am already 66 pounds down. Stomach is flapping in the breeze. I know John da man - but my trainer wants me doing both, or she will kick my ass!
Oh, and nipples is one of my favorite word's.

Mike and Jim:
Even though I'm older than you guys, I look at you as sort of big brothers because you're ahead of me on the curve. You have no idea how much you have helped me plan for the experience just by reading your posts/blogs. I was supposed to go in for lap rny on 1/15, but got moved to 1/18. Just adds a couple more days of nervousness and apprehension.
I read John's posts with Mike and have already drawn up the exercise battle plan, but like Jim, I also like to do some resistance work. I like the gunnage plan, but have never worked my way up to large caliber. I'll be happy with toned and hard. Mike, I am not well informed on yoga. Is there a specific reason for the yoga now?
Thanks again for the postings gentlemen.
Oh, by the way. Piggly Wiggly grocery chain is home officed here in Charleston and I heard on the news this morning that Piggly Wiggly and Dolly Parton are in negotiations. It seems that Dolly is trying to start her own grocery chain and is trying to purchase the entire Big Lots, Piggly Wiggly, and Harris Teeter chains. If she can combine them all into her own chain, she plans on calling it Big Wiggly Teeters. (Sorry, all the discussion of moobs made me recall this one)

I am gonna start yoga, specifically for the stretching and balance. I am sure as I shrink, my libido will hit all time highs and I just don't want to pull anything. If you know what I mean. LOL No, really it is for the stretching and flexibility and the people I know that do yoga - not the eastern mysticism part, but the exercises all seem to really like them and are incredibly healthy people. I am also getting ready to start ballroom dancing lessons. Many changes here.

Doug...you're an honorary brother now, bud. I called my wife on the phone to tell her about Dolly. (She can't stand Dolly Parton or country music in general, where I on the other hand, love it! Especially Dolly, I could give you a couple of reasons why...but I'm sure you get the gist.)
Jim's doing the yoga. I tried it once and I'm not sure it's for me. I'll add more resistance later, but because I'm still heavy, I'm concentrating on the cardio to help move the fat out. If I add muscle now, then I'm also adding weight and making it more difficult to lose. I'm trying not to lose any lean muscle mass by doing some resistance and using the damn elliptical machine but I'll hone in on the resistance when I drop below 230-240.
