Default Roasted tomatoes?

Does anybody have a recipe for some kind of roasted tomatoes with parmesan, cheese, or some sort of stuffing? I've seen similars on cooking shows, but I can't remember what they were and I thought that would really be good...especially if some protein could be added!

Christy, I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind but here is a recipe for broiled tomatoes.

Garlic and Herb Broiled Tomatoes Recipe courtesy Rachael Ray

Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
User Rating:

4 plum tomatoes
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1/3 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 clove garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat broiler to medium high.
Cut plum tomatoes in 1/2 lengthwise. Squeeze or scoop out most of the pulp and seeds. Place the tomatoes flesh side up in a heat safe dish and season them with salt and pepper. In a bowl combine the bread crumbs, Parmigiano, thyme, garlic and olive oil. Season mixture with pepper
and sprinkle over the tomatoes. Place tomatoes under the broiler for 5 minutes or until golden brown

Thanks for that recipe, that's similar to what I was looking for. I'm going to try it, I am in love with Rachel Ray's cooking! I made her black bean salsa, and couldn't eat much, but what I could have was really good...
