Default Crockpot Chicken.

In the bottom of your crockpot put 1 onion, cut in 1/4s or 1/8s, potatoes, scrubbed and cut in chunks, mushrooms, if you like, and about 4 carrots, scrubbed and cut in chunks, or baby carrots. Lay 1 chicken, cut in quarters on top of vegies. Sprinkle with 1 packet Good Seasons dry salad dressing mix, and then 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce.. Cover and cook all day on low. You can tweak vegies, add others altho soft veg like peas or zucchini should go in near the end. I like to serve this over noodles, for those that can eat noodles. LOL. Always a hit. When the chicken is gone, and just sauce is left, it makes a marvelous soup base! I like to make this for company since it requires absolutely no last minute attention!
