Ground Turkey Burgers
1 lb Ground Turkey
4 oz crumbled Feta (+more to top them, if you want)
1/2 sliced Kalamata Olives
2 tsp Oregano
Mix the turkey, olives and cheese together. Form into burgers (you can get about 6 burgers from it). Grill. Using the GF grill should take about 4-6 minutes.
Top w/more Feta cheese if desired and enjoy.

Sounds Good!
I was wondering about Turkey Burgers. Beef scares me, so I think I'll stay away for about a year or so.
This looks like a good recipe to me. And, I love feta cheese! Yummy!
Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks Sandi,
You know my experience with ground beef! I hope the ground turkey will be ok. Maybe I will be brave and try it.

Ground turkey burgers.. :)
This looked really good to me too, and I'm scared of the ground beef too, especially since you had trouble with it poddie, I figure if YOU have trouble with it, I will too, we're the "groove sista's" anyway....
Let me know how it goes if you guys have it!!
I'm glad you thought it looked good too Stacie!!
Hugs to you both!!!!

Sandy, I LOVE turkey burgers and saw this recipe yesterday to bring a new twist to an old favorite. I'm only 5 weeks out so I haven't made a turkey burger. Then I saw your topic.
I bought the ground turkey and feta today. Seasoned it, broke out the TINY George Foreman and OH MY GOODNESS. The holy grail of all turkey burgers! Having the feta mixed in is absolutely delicious. I am taking my eraser sized bites and I can't chew fast enough because I am ready for the next bite. I forgot the olives but it still turned out DELICIOUS. This is my NEW "that's all I eat" food. I can give chili a break for a minute. )

Hi All . I Actually Found Some Jennio Turkey Burgers At Walmart In The Meat Section Over A Month Ago . They Were Really Good . I Could Only Eat 3/4 Of One But You Get 4 Or 6 Patties For $7 Or Something Like That. Hope That Helps.

Wow! This sounds great! I'm still working the pureeds for a little over a week more, but these do sound delicious! I've never tried turkey burgers before because I was a red meat junky before surgery, but with the feta it would be great. I LOVE feta!
As for ground beef, it seems like a lot of you have intolerance to beef. I had the pasta fagiole soup at Olive Garden last week (picking out the pasta of course) and the little bit of beef that was in there didn't bother me at all. So far *knock wood* I haven't had anything that bothered my pouch. This is, of course, both good and bad. I'm following the rules and I'm not hungry, but knowing that I haven't had any trouble so far makes me worried that when i can start eating solid food that I'll eat too much or the wrong things just because I can. In the past, I have had absolutely no will power. They did surgery on my stomach, not my brain, so I'm sure those will power issues will still be there. Of course, if I'm bad at least I'll be bad in much smaller quantities! but I don't want to be bad at all.
