Default Shrimp/Cream cheese dip

2 cups of small shrimp
1 box of cream cheese
1 cup cocktail sauce no sugar added


put the shrimp and cocktail sauce over the cream cheese and microwave on high for one minute. Eat with crackers or Veggies.

That sounds yummy! Can you use the low fat cream cheese? I would eat nothing but shrimp if I could afford it! That is the one thing that I loved pre op and post op. Everything else has changed!

I haven't made it with low fat cream cheese before but I would imagine it would be ok... why not make a batch and see how it tastes, and then let us know. Suzy

Here it is again for those interested.

Shrimp & Crab spread

1 can crab meat
1 can small shrimp (or 1/4 lb fresh bay shrimp)
1 pkg low fat cream cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
2 green onions, chopped
dash of garlic powder
1/2 tsp horseradish
1/4 tsp dill

Mix all ingredients together (add shrimp last), chill and enjoy!
