Talking Caramel Latte protein drink

Hi everyone, I was reading through some of the nutrition threads and got a little hungry/thirsty so experimented a bit and made the following:
8 oz of cold water
1 scoop of Max Vanilla protein powder
1 packet of Nescafe Caramel Latte (70 cals) (sugar free)
1 tbsp (more or less) of Torani S.F. vanilla syrup
a few ice cubes.
Blended in my Bullet till smooth
Its delicious and nutritious as well. The only drawback I suppose is the caffeine, but I won't have this too often. Its like a wonderful treat for me!!! Try it!

Hey hun if you want this same flavor without the caffeine and the 70 calories from the latte powder, get the Splenda for Coffee little flavor tubes. I use one Mocha and one Carmel to make this exact drink with my Isopure Vanilla and it's awesome!!

This sounds really good. I make a similar shake with General Foods International vanilla latte packets. But obviously it's not caramel. And I like caramel.

I will look for the Splenda stuff. Is it in the coffee section or with the other Splenda stuff? Like baking stuff?

Because the GFI vanilla latte has caffeine too, which has worried me some. It's not a ton of caffeine, it's about the amount in 1/2 cup of coffee. But still. I'd rather do without it.

It's different in every store hun. Some it's in the sugar/Splenda section in others it's with the coffee. But I have them in every flavor and I love them!!

Some of the other combinations I make are Vanilla protein, Carmel Splenda for Coffee and Cinnamon Splenda for Coffee. Tastes just like a Cinnabon. I tried the Lean Desert Cinnamon Bun flavor but it had the weirdest after taste to me. I could not get past it so I invented my own.

Others I make are Isopure Dutch Chocolate (I use the low carb version) 1 scoop of protein, 110 cals and 25g of protein. 1 Tbps of the PB2 Chocolate, 25cals and 2 packets of the Splenda for Coffee Mocha. This one is really good too.

Another option is the Sugar Free Coffeemate powders. I use the Vanilla Carmel, French Vanilla and the Hazelnut ones. Just one teaspoon of them adds alot of flavor to any shake.

Hey, thanks for the information. I'll see if they sell the Splenda stuff here in Toronto. We don't have as many s.f. things to choose from here as you do in the States. Your ideas sound terrific and delicious. I'm just now getting the hang of mixing things and am almost able to keep most things down. Thanks again.

I LOVE those Splenda flavor packets. I have not seen the carmel ones but, you bet I'll be looking out for them.

I have been having my cheaters version of coffee in the morning with the International Coffee " Vanilla Carmel Latte. Sugar free of course and I add a table spoon of my Anywhey heat stable protein. I also make it with Silk so it's packed with protein and super yummy. Something nice and hot on these chilly mornings.
