That sounds so yummy! Do you think the result would be the same with vanilla soy milk?

Even without the protein powder it would yield 15 grams of protein. Sounds very tasty.

The soy milk sounds like it would only add flavor. Try it and let me know how it works out.

I really hate to be a nag Barb, but I think yoiu are slowing your weight loss down with the protein supplement. You are 8 months post op, your honeymoon if about over if it isn't already. I think yoiu would have lost 100 by now if not for the protein supplement. Sorry, just my take. I am brutally honest and it isn't always a good thing, but I want you to succeed the best you can. I don't see anything wrong with what you eat, and the amount is enough to survive, you are adding unwanted calories every time you take a scoop of protein. You are too far out to be supplementing.

Just cuz I posted this recipe doesn't mean I drank it.

I dont know what is slowing my weight loss down. But Dr. Potts says I am doing just perfect.

By the way I have only had 2 protein drinks in the last 6 weeks and before that none for months and months. I conteplating bringing them into my diet BECAUSE when I do have them I have better days of weight loss, I feel better and feel like I have more control. But honestly I can count on one hand all the times I have had a protein drink since WLS. 4 or 5.

But thanks for the input

Hey Traci I hope that I did not come across as grumpy when I posted my response. I didn't mean it that way. I was stating facts.

I would love to have lost an additional 25lbs by now. But it is not from lack of trying. It sometimes becomes my number one focus and that is not good for me. I was out the gym for a couple of weeks just started getting back into hard work outs. Last night was the first if a while. I ran into Angela and Jeanie. Hi girls if you read this.

So once again sorry if I sounded grumpy or pissy in my response I didn't mean it that way.

Hey Barb I didn't lose a 100 pounds till I was almost 11 months out (I think) maybe 10, and I never drank a protein drink, so don't worry about it. Everyone is different! You are doing fine!
