Default Protein Packed Italian Dip

Here's a recipe that I came up with a couple of days ago. I took this to work, along with a veggie tray. It was a big hit...I just didn't tell my co-workers that it was healthy for them, lol.

16 oz Trader Joe's 2% Greek yogurt (or equivalent amount of Fage)
8 oz brick light cream cheese
1 packet (dry) Good Seasons Italian dressing mix

Soften cream cheese slightly in microwave. Mix all ingredients together, and beat with a mixer. Tastes better after it chills for a few hours.

Of course, you could make this with sour cream instead of Greek yogurt, but the calories would be higher, and the protein would be significantly lower. It would be better to use fat free cream cheese, but I didn't have any in the house.

Nutritional stats for ENTIRE recipe (using ingredients above). This makes quite a bit, so divide the nutritional stats by servings as necessary:

952 calories
59g fat
196mg cholesterol
3,634mg sodium
32g carbs
10g sugar
0g fiber
71g protein
