Default Blue Cheese Tenderloin Steaks

This is one of my favorite steak recipes. Enjoy!

Blue Cheese Tenderloin Steaks Ingredients

4 ts Blue cheese -- crumbled
4 Tenderloin steaks -- 1" thick
1 lg Garlic clove -- halved
4 ts Plain yogurt -- low-fat
2 ts Onion -- minced
1/2 ts Salt -- divided
2 tb Cream cheese -- softened
1 ds White pepper
2 ts Parsley -- chopped

Instructions for Blue Cheese Tenderloin Steaks

Preparation time: 22 minutes Combine cream cheese, blue cheese, yogurt, onion and pepper; reserve. Rub each side of the steaks with garlic. Place the steaks on a rack in the broiler pan so the surface of the meat is 2 to 3 inches from th heat. Broil t to 6 minutes. Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Turn and broil 3 to 4 minutes. Season with remaining salt. to- each steak with an equal amount of reserved cheese mixture. Broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley.

Kim this looks really good. So you have made it? have you ever done with grilled steaks instead of broiled? I just may have to get the stuff and lay some steaks out to thaw. Delish!!

I have made this many times. I love it. I have made it with grilled steaks and then put the topping on and tossed it under the broiler for a few minutes. What I like to do is cut up the garlic into slivers and then shove it into the meat. I also have taken olive oil and garlic and brushed in on the steaks before grilling them.

Yum putting this on my list to cook. we have tons of steaks in the freezer.
