PINEAPPLE CAKE
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 large can undrained crushed pineapple (#3)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix together. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes
Frosting: 1 cup sugar
1 stick butter or oleo
1 cup evaporated milk
Bring to a boil, then add 1 cup nuts and 1 cup coconut
Boil 2 minutes, then poor over hot cake.

FIG CAKE
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour (1 white, 1 wheat)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup veg oil
1 pint figs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup crushed pecans (can be omited)
Mix and put into greased and floured bunt cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
No frosting. Use cool whip.
