Lucy as promised here is a few recipes & info ....

FORTIFIED MILK
Mix 3 heaped tablespoons of skimmed milk powder with 400mls of semi or skimmed milk , (I PUT THIS IN MY BLENDER SO GETS OUT ANY LUMPS)
Use this fortified milk when u have tea,coffee,milkshakes, smoothies etc .
U can also flavour this with low cal hot chocolate . horlicks , ovaltine , diet squash or vanilla essence & cinnamon .
(THIS USES 2 OF YOUR DAILY PROTEIN PORTIONS)


STRAWBERRY YOGHURT SHAKE

Blend 1 smooth diet yoghurt with 200mls semi/skimmed milk and 6 fresh or frozen strawberries , dilute to a drinkable consistency with milk or water and sieve to ensure NO BITS .
(THIS USES 1 PROTEIN PORTION)



EASY PESTO TOMATO SOUP

Measure about 200 mls of tomato juice into small pan , stir in 1 big teaspoon of pesto and heat gently .
(THIS IS A FREE ITEM )

Every day ensure u have at least 2 litres of fluid per day , made up by 3 protein items , as much as u like from free items and 1-2 from limited list .

Choose 3-items per day from this ....



400 mls semi or skimmed milk
400 ml soya milk with added calcium
2 smooth diet yoghurts (blend with water to drinkable consistency)
1x325 can of slim fast
3 heaped tablespoons skimmed milk powder
15g protein powder , you may need to use these to obtain your protein if u dont like dairy products , protein powder can be mixed into soups , fruit or veg juices .

Post limited list/ liquid diet post band

If u like more variety then u can include 1-2 items of the following

1 small glass of UN SWEETENED fruit juice , (no bits or lumps)
1 glass of veg juice > ie : carrot , tomato juice .
1 x 100 ml low fat/low sugar actimel/or similar brand drink
1x100 ml vie or smoothie drink
low cal hot choc , ovaltine or horlicks

Post free items

make up the rest of your 2 litre fluid intake by the following :

water , plain or low cal flavoured (NOT CARBONATED)
low cal no added sugar squash
oxo. bovril , marmite , stock cubes
soups (tinned , dried, cuppa , homemade) u can dilute them with extra water or add an oxo cube , bovril or marmite ,(sieve to ensure lump free)
miso powder(sieve)
coffee
tea .

THESE ARE UNLIMITED ITEMS !!!!!!!!
