Post Cheesy Meatballs

1 pound ground beef
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

Mix ground beef, onions, garlic salt, and red pepper. Form into balls and brown on all sides until no longer pink in the middle. Serve on a plate with both kinds of shredded cheese on top.

What Sawyer would call me on LOST: ladybug

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment." Sounds great! I'll have to try it. My kids are getting tired of all my other burger recipes.

Vanessa, you are not quite three weeks post op. Nothing tastes as good as it sounds or as good as it smells for quite a while. Your internal incision isn't completely healed yet, and it definitely plays a part on what you can or cannot tolerate. The further healed your internal incision becomes, the more you will be able to tolerate. Each day you will tolerate a little more, and a slightly larger quantity. You will go from eating a teaspoon or two, to a tablespoon or two, to an ounce or two, to a half a cup or a cup. It is a slow progression that we hardly notice until about 6-9 months, when we notice a significant increase in the amount we can not only consume, but tolerate as well, and what was that? Taste? Yes I think that was taste. Man I think I mourned the loss of taste and not the loss of food. Anyway honey bunny, it will all be over before you know it, and you will be a thin person with a thin appetite, and hopefully a fat pocket book.

Hugs,

Traci

There is a chance I may be traveling to Florida in the near future, maybe we can hook up, by then you will be able to do lunch, we can split one, as long as it isn't fish, if you want fish you are on your own g/f.

Actually now with Lei Lani leaving, I was thinking of taking a travel position in Florida, to visit my son that has been gone since Thanksgiving. They pay for everything including my apartment. I can take a 13 week or a 25 week contract. Do you have any suggestions about hospitals in Florida? It would have to have a neonatal intensive care there for me to take the contract. I don't want to get stuck in a cardio unit for 13 weeks straight, omg nooooo. Post Partum would be fine too actually. Let me know okay.
