Cranberry Turkey Burgers
Serving Size: 4
1 pound ground turkey
3⁄4 cup dried cranberries
1⁄3 cup quick cooking oats
¼ cup green onion, chopped fine
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
3⁄4 teaspoon ground allspice
½ teaspoon powdered ginger
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1⁄8 teaspoon ground pepper
Preheat barbecue to medium-high, lightly grease grills.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly and form into four patties.
Grill on medium-high for 5-7 minutes per side, or until meat is no longer pink in center and internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
Serve immediately.
NOTES: Optional: Top with Mozzarella cheese, lettuce and cucumber slices if desired.
