Default "lasagna"

This is another recipe that is great early postop and is still my "comfort food". It's what I go to when I don't feel much like eating and it always hits the spot!

"LASAGNA"
Susan Maria's Before & After Help (Powered by Invision Power Board)

In a cereal bowl put a layer

1/4 c low fat ricotta cheese
1/4 c spagetti sauce (I use Barilla as it's a lower sugar one)
Sprinkle garlic power
1 T grated parmesean cheese
1/4 c shredded low fat mozzarella cheese

Microwave on a low setting just to heat through and melt the cheeses

Yep, that is correct Amity! You can eat this once you get to the pureed stage. It's great for that. Even at 2 years out I will still make this for lunch occasionally. Some days my pouch just doesn't feel like eating. When I have those days I go back to the soft, mushy foods.

MMMMMMMMMMMMM! This sounds great! I'm only a few days post-op, so I'll have to wait. But I'll remember this one.
