Stuffed Cabbage Soup
Stuffed Cabbage Soup
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can sauerkraut
worchestershire sauce - probably about a tablespoon
oregano - about 1/2 tsp
garlic powder - about 1/4 tsp
salt - about 1/4 tsp
pepper - about 1/2 tsp
dash of cayenne pepper - optional
about 1/2 small can of tomato paste
saute the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a dutch oven, then drain...Then add the tomatoes and sauerkraut...Then add all of the seasonings and the tomato paste to thicken it. Let it simmer for about 1/2 hr, then dIg in!
