*L* Well to each his own, Janine. My pouch loves these so I make them quite often. Glad you are finding some recipes you like, Janine. Can't like them all.

I made these last night and the verdict is still out. DH said the breading tasted "funky" to him. I just told him it was cereal, if he knew it was Fiber One he probably wouldn't have even tried them. The cheese was a little rubbery to me. I made two batches but had only frozen two sticks, so I had two frozen and two not frozen. Both oozed out on the pan, but the frozen ones were much less. The breading wasn't crunchy at all. I think if the breading was crunchy and the cheese was less rubbery I would have liked them much better. Any suggestions from the cooks here? I am so not a cook, but these just looked easy!

Well I haven't made these for awhile but if I remember right my breading was rather crunchy. Not like what you get in the resturants but those are fried so they will be more crunchy. Maybe try a different coating? I've used the corn flakes crumbs on chicken before and that seems to be more crunchy than the Fiber One.
If you used a light string cheese it will be more rubbery. There isn't as much fat in those. I would suspect of you went with a regular string cheese it would be less of a rubbery texture.
