Default Blue Cheese & Bacon Dip

BLUE CHEESE & BACON DIP
Susan Maria's Before & After Help (Powered by Invision Power Board)

Vegetable cooking spray
One 8-ounce pkg. reduced-fat cream cheese
1/2 cup fat-free Half & Half
7 slices turkey bacon, crispy cooked and crumbled
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 ounces crumbled Blue cheese
2 tablespoons chopped chives
2 tablespoons chopped green onion (or 4 tablespoons, if not using chives)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 1-quart casserole dish with vegetable cooking spray. In a large bowl beat the softened cream cheese with Half & Half. Stir in bacon, garlic, blue cheese, chives and green onion and pepper, Pour into prepared casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle almonds over the top and continue baking for 10 minutes more. Allow to cool slightly and serve with vegetables, apple and pear slices,....and for your family, whole grain crackers or crostini. Makes 10 servings.

Per Serving: 119 Cal; 6 g Protein; 9 g Total Fat; 3 g Carb; 0 g Fiber; 1 g Sugar; 308 mg Sodium

Oh man, I would LOVE this! I bet Amy could handle some of this too if the bacon is chopped up good enough. Beth, keep them recipes coming. I'm saving every one of them. I don't have time to surf and find the good stuff like you do!
