Cube Steak with Gravy - Crock Pot
We had this tonight and it was YUMMMMMM.
1/3 Cup Flour
Couple of shakes of salt and pepper
6 Beef Cube Steaks (1 1/2lbs.)
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Large Onion (I used 1 bag frozen chopped onion cuz I hate chopping onion)
3 Cups Water, divided
1 Envelope Brown Gravy Mix
1 Envelope Mushroom Gravy Mix
1 Envelope Onion Gravy Mix
Place flour, salt and pepper into a resealable plastic bag. Add steaks a couple at a time and shake until completely coated. In a skillet, cook steaks in oil until lightly browned on each side. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the onion and 2 cups water. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender. At the end of the 8 hours.....In a bowl, whisk together the gravy mixes with the remaining cup of water. Add to slow cooker; cook 30 minutes more. Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.
