Fage Yogurt
Have any of you tried Fage Yogurt before? It tastes just like sour cream but can be used in all kinds of exciting ways.
Today for lunch this is what I did:
1 container Fage Yogurt (0% fat)
2 tbsp sugar free apricot preserves
Splenda to taste
1 tbsp slivered Almonds
14 grams protein
3 grams fat (from almonds)
150 calories
6 grams sugar
I have to tell you this was SO GOOD!! I'm so happy I've found this yogurt and I plan on experimenting with it again. YUMMY!!!

I just found this recipe using Fage Yogurt that sounds really good too....
1 Cup Fage yogurt
1 small can fat free refried beans (spicy or not - you decide)
1/2 Cup salsa (be careful - some makers add sugar)
Heat in microwave and serve with favorite dipping item.

Found another recipe for Fage
Hmmm...now this one sounded good too...
tzatziki sauce
use the Magic Bullet, throw in a container (single serving) of Fage, 1 med. cucumber (chopped first), a clove of garlic (chopped first) a teeny bit of red wine vinegar and olive oil, fresh ground black pepper and some dillweed.
serve on meat, especially beef, chicken and fish

Ice cream substitute?
Now this also sounds good!!
1 container 0% fage yogurt
mix some splenda sweetened cherry pie filling
Put in freezer about 45 min.
drizzled SF Hershey's syrup over the top

Another option...
Mix Fage with a packet of lemon Crystal Light and a packet of Splenda.
YUM....all kinds of lemony goodness.

2 T Libby's splenda crushed pineapple

Wow, this fage yogurt is very versatile. I will be keeping an eye out for it when I go grocery shopping with the parental unit on Thursday!
