I made this quiche and it was great! It says it makes 5 portions and they are large. I fed myself, my daughter and her boyfriend and we all had left-overs for the next day. I had never bought real crab meat before so was a little shocked at the cost but it was worth it. Add a salad and rolls and you have a very nice meal. Thanks for the recipe!

This sounds amazing! I wish I wouldnt' have already gone shopping for the week. Oh, well! I'm adding it to the recipe file for sure!

Could you not use the canned lump crab meat instead of the real stuff? If that would be too salty, I would just do what Michelle did and use the fake stuff.

Katz, I was the same way with eggs. My pouch hates them but for some reason it handles quiche and omelettes just fine. I can also do hard boiled eggs, just not plain ole scrambled or fried. Weird.

Duckie,

It was good with the imitation crab? Several people at work wanted to make it to bring to the office but the cost of real crab scared them. I'm anxious to try it with the imitation crab.

Well since this seems to be a hit and I haven't even tried it yet, I think I may. *L*

....me thinks you all discovered my evil plan. I use you for my trials BEFORE I try a recipe. *L* Good plan, eh? hehehe

Well I'm most certainly not feeling up to a trip to the grocery store today to buy these ingredients but maybe this week I can play the "Poor me" card and get DH to run and get what I need so I can make this. It does sound really good and maybe just what I need since I'm still in pain. I'm finding right now my body doesn't want anything that is very dense.
