Default Turkey Roll-ups

TURKEY ROLL-UPS
Susan Maria's Before & After Help (Powered by Invision Power Board)

One 8-ounce pkg. fat-free cream cheese
1/4 cup finely shredded carrot
1/4 cup finely shredded zucchini
2 tablespoons dried cranberries, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dill
Pinch of garlic powder
Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Six ounces roasted turkey breast, deli sliced

In a small bowl combine cream cheese, carrot, zucchini, cranberries, dill, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Place 2 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture onto each slice of turkey. Roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Allow to chill for two hours. Makes six servings.

Per Serving: 82 Cal; 10 g Protein; 1 g Tot Fat; 7 g Carb; 0 g Fiber; 6 g Sugar; 578 mg Sodium"

these sound good

i make a different variation of these with deli ham, spread wtih cream cheese (flavored or plain) and roll a pickled asparagus in it, i have served these at many parties and they go over very well

It all depends on what your surgeon says. For me, I could have started eating it at about 6 weeks post-op.

I do the same thing Carrie.. cept instead of pickled asparagus.. I use dill pickles (or I use dill pickle relish mixed with the cream cheese.. spreads easier.. ) I call it pickle surprise lol.. and people beg for it when I go to family gatherings... (like Easter!)

dear Beth ~ I am having such a hard time with food ~ i stink at making things and when i make it ~ it never tastes as good as it sounds... so i was wondering ~ CAN YOU COME LIVE WITH ME?? Every recipe you post sounds wonderful ~ and I fear if you do not come live with me and teach me how to cook ~ I will live on protein shakes and bars forever!!!

Seriously ~ thanks for all the recipes ~ you are saving me one recipe at a time
