Default Dijon Wasabi Sauce

Dijon Wasabi Sauce
Wonderful on deli roast beef or grilled tuna fillet sandwiches. . .

Servings: Makes One Cup


• 1 1/2 tablespoons wasabi powder
• 2 tablespoons low fat mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons low fat sour cream
• 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce (or to taste)
• 1 green onion, white and part of green, finely minced
• Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Per 2 Tablespoon Serving: 20 Calories; 1g Fat (62.7% calories from fat); trace Saturated Fat; 1g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 2mg Cholesterol; 97mg Sodium. Exchanges: 0 Lean Meat; 0 Vegetable; 1/2 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates.

This sounds soooooooo good! I love wasabi, hmmm any idea where to find wasabi powder? I never heard of such a thing.

we have an oriental herb store near us - do you have chinatown in your city? most canandian cities have an area we call china town that have all kinds of spices, thats were i get my unique ingredients from

I found the wasabi powder in my grocery store in the international food aisle, near Japanese and Indian stuff. It's usually a small jar- look carefully! (I shop at Stop & Shop.)
