Default pizza crust option

For those still wanting to enjoy a pizza, find the low carb tortillas (we have multigrain, low carb ones here, so good) and then:

Brush each side of tortilla lightly with oil. Bake in a preheated 400º F (200º C) oven for 5 minutes.

while still warm spread with salsa or perferred pizza sauce, add toppings (i love turkey, mushrooms, and use salsa on these) then top with low-fat cheese and return to oven to melt cheese, then eat.

Another idea--

I buy the large portebella mushrooms at Costco and use them just like pizza crust. One of my faves:

Stuff the mushroom with Turkey sausage, chopped black olives, sliced tomatoes and lowfat cheese-- bake about an hour

You will be surprised how much like pizza this tastes and how satisfying it is.
