Default Hot Crab Casserole

Hot Crab Casserole

Ingredients:
1 lb. crab meat (preferably lump)
16 oz. f/f cream cheese
8 oz. f/f sour cream
2 Tablespoons f/f mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Salt/pepper/garlic to taste
1 Tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Soften cream cheese. Beat with sour cream until very smooth. Add mayonnaise, worcestershire sauce, seasonings and blend well. Fold in crab meat (be careful with this if you're using lump — you don't want to break up the lumps!).

Place in a 2-1/2 qt. casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 350°F. Remove from oven and stir. Sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven for another 10 minutes.

Serves 6. 4 net grams of carbohydrate per serving.

Oh my! I think I could have that now. Don't know how it would affect my LI, but I'd be willing to try!

I've been meaning to try something different as a new source of protein since I can't do chicken anymore or tuna so I've been thinking about seafood(shrimp, crab, lobster...blah, blah, blah). This sounds like something simple enough to do(for me) and I will definitely give it a try once I feel better. Thanks for posting it!
