I did the original. I'm one month post op, so I can't eat the peps yet. I left it on the printer at work, and a co-worker got a copy too. She made it with ground turkey. I'll just be glad when I can eat more.

I tried it with ground turkey also but preferred the LEAN beef.

Bumpety Bump. Just because I was looking for this recipe.

A pot of this is currently simmering on my stove. I used pinto and black beans and a pound of ground turkey and a pound of chicken breast chopped very very fine.

Thumbs up

Wendy's chili is my friend. I buy 4 large chili's every week ($9.66) and it lasts for the whole week. I eat many other things for protein too but my NUT says that Wendy's chili is a really good thing for us when choosing fast food.

Thankfully I have no "stinky" effects from the ingestion of this food product. My hubster is thankful. I will definitely have to try the recipe here...when I get in a cooking mood.

For now though it is "hello drive-thru" and "it's too hot to cook" (and I can't find my crock-pot...so sad...HA)

Thank you very much for the recipe!

Everyone have a spectacular week and have I told you lately that I love you all???

i made this last year because the wendys here in our town burned to the ground they still have not rebuilt it. so i went looking for this recipe and found it on a copycat site. it is really good. but you do have to stir it a lot and be sure to get a large pot. it makes a lot.
