  1. I am 6 years out. My weight is now starting to creep back. I broke my foot in the fall, so that was a set back for the last 3 months. My bad eating habits have resurfaced after all this time. I also binge drink now. I do have days I can endless eat and other days my pouch feels small. I can't figure out why this is happening. Does anyone know? How big is our pouch after many years? I need to buckle down , any support would be helpful.
  2. You are an inspiration. Looking great. Always be proud im six years out.
  3. Alcohol post gastric bypass surgery is lethal. I am 6 years post surgery. Alcohol is a big issue. The binge drinking and blackouts. Very scary. I'm happy I read your story. I'm not alone. You're not alone. I'm also back into the sugar. The weight is creeping back after all these years. I'm frantic. Im going give it my best shot to stop with both. The surgery was a gift. Don't take it for granted.
  4. I'm six years too. Cheers to us Loved your words and pic
  5. Looking for a support group . People who are out over 5 years of gastric bypass surgery.
  6. Hi, I'm a newbie here. I had gastric bypass surgery 6 years ago. Feb. 5th is my anniversary date. I have no regrets. Best thing I ever did. My life changed for the good. Much happier me. I am 8 pounds over the goal weight the program gave me. Struggling with that. My advice to people who just had surgery. If sugar was an issue before, don't get back into it. Also stay away from booze. Big issue. You can fall in the trap of binge drinking and blackouts. Don't give up one addiction to inherit another. At this point my pouch is a stomach. I have to remind myself all the time I was given the gift of weight loss surgery. I can't take it for granted. If I screw this up, than what ? This is a procedure I highly recommend. Take your vitamins, drink your water and MOVE. best of luck !
