  1. Hi! I too am a slow loser. My surgery was on 1/23 and I've only lost a total of 16lbs since surgery.... almost 6 weeks ago! I follow the plan perfectly and have been excersing 5 days a week, I get all of my protein in, all of my fluids in and I just keep wondering why I'm not losing as fast as others. I completely understand where you're coming from. I've been at the same weight for the past 2 weeks, Stalls do happen so just continue to do what you're doing and the weight will eventually come off.... As least I hope for both of our sake
  2. Thank you!
  3. Hello everyone, I'm 5 weeks post op. When I eat or drink anything, I can feel it doing down almost in an uncomfortable way. Will it always be like this or will things get better down the line? Is this something I should be concerned with? Your help is greatly appreciated!
  4. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all of your encouraging words!
  5. I'm currently on solids. I eat 3 ounces of protein first and then veggies. Some days I'm hungrier than others but mainly I'm just exhausted and feeling like this isn't working for me.
  6. I am 4 weeks post op and have only lost 16lbs since surgery. In fact, I've been at the same weight for the last week. I've been reading how people are losing a pound a day. I follow the meal plans as suggested and weigh my food. I've been doing 30-60 mins of cardio at the gym for the past 2 weeks. What am I doing wrong? HELP!
  7. Can anyone tell me more recent experience with the steps needed and process for having weight loss surgery with Kaiser South Sac? I've seen many different forums all stating different things. So far I've already been to the intro class, been referred, have taken the BAR psych test, and my appointment to see the psychologist is on 10/3. What's next after that? I've read that Kaiser makes you do a 12 week options program. Is that still true or is it JUST a 2 hour nutrition class? Any help is greatly appreciated. Quote Edit
  8. Hello, I was wondering which weight Kaiser will base the percentage of weight you'll need to lose off of? I'm asking because my heaviest documented weight with Kaiser is 293. heaviest weight ever was is 301 but not on Kaiser records and I'm currently 278. Which weight will they go off of? I want to get a head start on losing weight but need to know how much weight I'll need to lose. I know they will go over that with me when I meet with the surgeon, but l know I'm several weeks away from being able to do that.
