  1. We are cleaning out closets this weekend, (getting rid of things that are too big). Never thought I'd be doing that so soon. My concern is winter. We live in the snow belt, and my coats are too big. What am I gonna do come November ? Need anything? A lot of my clothes are for office work. Not very fancy, but not wear around the house either. A lot of 22/24. Let me know if you can use/want anything.
  2. Good luck
  3. Hi ladies.... Broke the stall, but it's slow moving. I can get my protein in, but my liquids are not as great. I am still mainly on all liquids. I count the shakes as my total days liquid intake. The past week I've been trying to eat a bit more solid food. My program didn't let too many solids until 6 weeks. Excited that tomorrow I can have some salad. the only solids I've tried is chicken and beef. Tuna isn't a favorite anymore. I believe I need to up my calories, so I've been adding peanut butter to my shakes. Pb2. I'm still between 500 - 600 calories. I'm also keeping my carbs to a minimum. Glad everyone is doing well, and it does seem we are all going thru the same stages. Keep up the good work! It has to get better...
  4. Welcome
  5. I've been walking. I just seen my dr today, and he released me for everything. (Not food, just starting soft). We have a pool in our yard, and it's going to be 90 Saturday, I'm in it for sure. We have this perk with our Bari team, as soon as your cleared for everyday activities, they give you a 1month gym membership to a local gym. This gym has everything.... Pool, sauna, tanning, you name it. I'm gonna try this place for a month, then go back to my gym. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as this place, but it's not as expensive either. Either way, it will be nice for a month. Excited to move forward, I just wish this stall would break. When I asked him about it, he said " it's gonna happen many times, just follow the rules". Smh... He's not a big talker. Anyhow, good luck to everyone. This stall will be over, and we will soon be complaining about how sore we are from the gym... Can't wait.
  6. Welcome and good luck.
  7. Welcome, and good luck.
  8. Any of you ladies hit a stall yet? I see my doc today and I'm going to ask him about it. I didn't lose anything last week. Seen 2 pounds go down today. Smh. I think it was water. Was very hot here yesterday. Hope all is well.
  9. Good luck. Welcome.
  10. Morning all.... Been awhile since I've checked in. Everything is going fine. Healing up well, itchy tho. Haven't weighed myself in a week. Hoping to get a suprise by Monday. Still having problems getting my water in, but the protein has went up some. I'm 3 weeks post-op today, and still tired by the time I get off work at 4. In my mind it's the low calories, but I'm really not sure. I wish I had more energy. Prior to surgery I lived on Monster Drinks... I asked my doctor when can I get in the gym, he said not until 4-6 weeks after sur date. In my mind, I'm thinking...can't hurt to work on my waist down... so i've settled on walking my 100 pound dog around the neighborhood. Most of the time I let him pull me the last half of the block home. Get tired after 1/2 mile....... Hope everyone else is doing well...keep drinking! Talk to you soon.

  12. Been pushing it myself... I've ate 1-2 pieces of turkey this week, No problems. We had grilled salmon tonight... No problems yet. Still not getting over 600 calories in the day...and my water intake isn't consistent either. 50 one day, 70 the next.... Still working on it. My biggest problem is the protein. I feel bloated in the mornings... Smooth move tea worked prior to surgery. Not so much now. Anyone else having that problem? What is the solution? Wishing you all well... Hope everyone feels better soon.
  13. I had surgery on 6/24... Was back at work full time on 7/1... It's a desk job, I was fine. Tired, but it helped me sleep better.
  14. Welcome, you'll be glad you did it
  15. You look great!
