First, I am over year out and sipping shot of tequila makes me buzzed. Second, when people asked about why I had been in the hospital, I told them I had my gallbladder removed. I did have my gallbladder removed so not an out and out lie. Lastly, pouches, like people are all different. Some can eat without restriction after and some dump forever. Don't worry about the mechanics. Stick to the program and when the "food porn" (as my friend said), comes on TV change the channel. Good Luck with your dating!!!
Just to let you know, the first few days after my surgery, there was one night I remember lying on the couch and bawling that I hurt so bad and wanted sugar. I really struggled with buyers remorse. It was really rough. It lasted about a month and a half for me. On the bright side, when I began living the change and felt well enough to work out those feelings went away. You will feel better! I truly believe that. Don't let any stupid nay sayers tell you, you are messed up in the head. Some people just need time to adjust. =)
