  1. FEELING NAUSEATED ALL DAY

i had that happen. for me it was a stricture. they opened it up and i have been vomit/regurg free since
  2. I need help with water intake.

try varying your water temperatures and see if that makes it easier to get more down. I find hot tea goes down faster for me than cold beverages
  3. Bathing suit comparison, almost 7 mos post-op

    bombshell!
  4. Dissapointed that I don't dump :(

I must admit that around 2 1/2 months out I gave in and tried a doughnut. It did not make me sick and i was absolutely disappointed. I believe though, that it can happen at any time, so that keeps me honest. It would have been more beneficial for me if I had dumped with that doughnut though. I understand what you are saying.
  5. My first pictures shared here!

You look amazing and very happy. good for you!
  6. After last night.

Wow..that is scary. I hope you are feeling better. It's a good lesson for others. if you really think you have an issue with alcohol maybe your surgery center can direct you to finding some help.
  7. In love with a shallow man

You worked so hard to get the weight off and that's what you deserve??? I don't think so....Next!
  8. 3 months out before and after 100 pounds

Speechless. 100 pounds in 3 months??? Wow! What's your exercise routine like?
  9. Two months post-op, down 50 lbs!

    looking good!
  10. Emotional...lots on my mind.

What an exciting time...hang in there. It'll be here very soon.
  11. Weekend Update

291.6 I've been sick for about a week now. It's definately helped kick start the scale moving in the right direction though.I had another co-worker ask about my weight loss on Friday. I had to do some quick math when she asked me how much I've lost and it was then that I realized that I went over the 50 pound mark and didn't even notice. I've lost 53.4 pounds so far since my heaviest. Her mouth was agape when I told her. I don't think she expected that large of a number. She told me how wonderful I look. I was so happy about it. I haven't changed my clothes yet..I'm still in the same clothes I was in at 53.4 pounds heavier. So apparently it is noticeable even in the old clothes. I think I have about 10 more pounds left before shucking these clothes I'm in and refinding something smaller in my closet.
  12. Hit the 50 pound off mark and didn't realize it at the time.

    1. Fat Bottom Girl

      Fat Bottom Girl

      YEAH! Congratulations.

  13. Wish I'd known how much pain I'd be in afterward!

Hang in there. I have to say that I scheduled a week off of work being optimistic about the RNY procedure and ended up taking 2 1/2 off because of a general feeling of being weak. It seemed to me that time passed quickly. Take lots of naps and concentrate on getting in whatever fluid you can. It'll be behind you before you know it.
  14. what is a fleur-de-lis?
