  1. Just posted a welcome to you. I miss you!

  2. Hey Corinne! Checked in here to see what's going on. Hope you're doing well! -Mike

  3. Breakfast Idea's?

Do you have an ALDI store in your area? They have super cheap groceries. Our four year old loves pancakes, eggs, cut up cheese, grapes, cereal--and we get it all there for next to nothing! Much cheaper than the grocery store! And kudos to you for doing what's best for kids! -Mike
  4. Just Checking In...

Howdy Everybody, both oldsters and newsters! I haven't been on in awhile, not for any other reason that most of the folks that I was close with on the board are also on Facebook...and that's easier to work on my phone! I'm trying to catch up on some of the recent newbies and read up on life with some of those still on the board. Things are generally good with me. I'm very busy with work, with many of the states adopting Common Core standards for students. I'm traveling more than I thought I would, don't have the day-in/day-out sameness/structure and need to get back on the WLS wagon. As for my health, it's better than before the surgery, but not as good as it could be. I regained about 40 pounds, drink more than I did before the surgery (but not as much as I did in college!), exercise at least once a week still, put 4 inches back on my waist, but I'm still happier than I was pre-weight loss. I just need to get back on track, which is why I'm checking in here. I'm looking forward to reading and catching up here, and hopefully finding some old friends that are still around. Hope everyone is well! -Mike

  10. Oso on Jeopardy!

There was this on the Jeopardy website: This is JEOPARDY! - Show Guide - This Week I couldn't find the video. I DVR'ed it. The DVD recorder is broken, but I may be able to record it on the Flip Cam and make a DVD on the computer... -Mike
  11. Oso on Jeopardy!

Watching it right now! Eric! This is awesome! We're coming to Tucson in a couple of weeks--if you're around, we'd love to see you! -Mike
  12. New to the boards

Welcome Steve! I agree-I LOVE not having to go the B&T stores. In fact, the only reason I've been in one of those stores in the last two years was to buy a gift for someone else! Feels awesome! Keep up the good work, and welcome to Thinner Times! -Mike
  13. A Huge Step For Me...

Things are a little better...I don't think I'd do again if I had the opportunity. How do folks get addicted to this? I still have a little muscle pain, but things are SO much better with the drains out! -Mike
  14. Who wants to rub my belly?

This made me laugh out loud. I used to tell folks that "I'm not Buddha. Touching my belly ain't good luck!" -Mike
  15. A Huge Step For Me...

You look fantastic! Keep up the good work and know that you are doing great things for yourself! What an amazing transformation! -Mike PS...Don't it feel great?
