  1. Congratulations on 14! That's awesome!
  2. Will you try one more time? I just increased the limits, and it appears to be working now. I was able to get one working now using my test profile
  3. Hi Tom, I checked yours, and it doesn't look like the ticker exists anymore. For example, if you type in - you will go to a blank page. I was able to use these steps to get the ticker working for @latina63 Can you give these a shot and see if it works again?
  4. Are you getting a specific error message when you try to add a new one?
  5. Can you elaborate on your keyboard problem? Thanks! John
  6. I have a ticket open for this.
  7. Did you try this? And do you see this emoji icon in your editor?
  8. Hi Julie, There are a lot of new options under the "Activity" tab at the top of the screen. One is "Unread Content". You can also find it at the top right of most pages on the site.
  9. Hi Greer, I am always happy to pass along feedback to our software vendor. Are there any updates, in particular, that you are finding most frustrating? I wish we had another solution. Unfortunately, we have to keep the software relatively up-to-date to stay on top of security and compatibility. This version of the software was released just 1 week after we performed the last upgrade. Had we known the new version would be coming out so quickly, we probably would have held off on the previous upgrade.
  10. These issues are cache related, as the software was just updated. We've just flushed our global content delivery network, which should resolve a number of issues. Please also flush the cache in your Web browser using these instructions This should resolve any outstanding issues. Thank you! John
  11. Hi Everyone, I have addressed this in a post here: Everything should be back to normal.
  12. Hi Everyone, As you noticed today, we had a very long outage. We have some good and bad news to share. Bad: The main Web server for the forum suffered from some pretty bad file corruption. Unfortunately, some of this corrupt data also made its way into our backups creating the perfect storm. So, I had to restore the web server to its last guaranteed healthy state on October 18. Good: Thinner Times Forum is back online and running fine. The data loss is limited. The only data stored on the Web server are images that are uploaded to posts, galleries, blogs, and avatars. No thread or post data was lost. Furthermore, we are going to look through the backups over the next several days to see if any of the images can be recovered. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. As a result of this failure in the backup and restoration process, we're going to be designing a new web server setup in the coming weeks. Please let me know if you have any questions. John
  13. Thanks Julie. What version of iOS are you using - do you know?
  14. Hello Everyone, It has come to my attention that there are a number of users on the forum who are still experiencing issues related to the upgrade we performed last month. In order to work through these bugs systematically, and convey all usability feedback to our software vendor, I have decided to open this thread to the community. Please state, as specifically as possible, issues that you are still running into. Furthermore, while there is some functionality that we cannot change with this upgrade, I am happy to pass along any and all feedback to our software vendor for future releases. In your feedback, please provide screenshots when possible, as well as the operating system and browser you are using. An important thing to note - if you are continuing to have a problem being logged out on mobile devices, please follow your browser's instructions to clear your 'cookies' and 'cache'. Let me know if you need any help doing this. Thank you, John Callery
  15. Hi Thinner Times Friends, My partner, Josh, is the co-chair of the Ambassadors group for The Trevor Project - a leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. Josh is co-hosting the San Diego annual fundraiser and party this year, which we have been spending many tireless months planning for. If you, a friend or family member is interested in supporting the Trevor Project, make a night of it next weekend at The Orange Party. Tickets are $75 for general admission, and $100 for regular admission. Two of the cast members from "Glee" will be there co-hosting, as well. Learn more about the event and registration on this website I put together this weekend: My father, Dr. Callery, will also be attending, so we hope to see you there! If you can think of anyone else that would enjoy attending the event, please help spread the word! Best, John Callery
