  1. Just in case you pop in - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

  2. 4 1/2 months out from surgery, have lost 82 pds since surgery and goal is 105 pds. I think I have lost 80% of my excess weight and my BMI is only 2% from what they consider a healthy goal. My weight is only 13 pds more than a ideal high end weight. My goal though and surgeons are not hte same. They want to see me at 125 ish, I have a goal of 140. I am 5'5" and think that 125 is too thin for my body structure. Actually I am happy if I am just healthy lol
  3. 265 preop (pre loss before surgery) 245 day of surgery. 4 1/2 month post off down 82 pds. Everyone looses at different rates though. My surgery was april 25th.I have friends that had surgery 2 months before me and have loss less or same amount as me. Just varies

  5. Thanks!!!!!
  6. Unfortunately I think it pushed it straight through my gut really quick. The gatorade really didnt have much sugar. I have drank things with more sugar than that. I felt fine after about 2 hrs thank goodness. I am always real careful about eating and drinking but stupid me this time......
  7. No the gatorade was zero calorie with only 2 g of sugar I think. Anything I drink has less than 5g of sugar in it
  8. Started size 22 pants, size 3 x top and 245 lbs Today bought size 10 jeans, size 12 pants and size large top!!!! Down 73 lbs.
  9. GRRRRR, ate some bell peppers then took a few swigs of my gatorade without even thinking. OMG what in the world was I thinking?? Newbies if you are reading this, this is why you dont drink after food. Sweating, heart is racing, sick feeling to stomach and headache. I hope to god I dont ever do this again...............
  10. just word to the wise on this one, I drank these post surgery, ended up with an ulcer, they are fairly sure it was due to the 5 hour energy drinks
  11. I would definately say that pain is a sign of eating too much. I cant find the site but I read some of the symptoms of overeating for your pouch and chest tightness, chest pain, back shoulder pain are all signs of it. 3 pieces sounds like a lot at one time for 17 days out. Maybe start with a 1/2 piece and move on up from there and see how you feel but wouldnt donw anymore than smaller pieces. I eat the shaved lunch meat now. Easier to chew, thinner and easier for me to digest
  12. lol I carry a bag of plastic grocery bags in the car as well just for these happenings. Too many to count (mainly early on in my ulcer experience) but I love bread, I treat myself occasionally to it but its usually toast with some low fat shredded cheese on it grilled in the oven. I eat 1/2 piece maybe once every 2 weeks to get my bread fix in
  13. I want pizza bad but it doesnt sit well. 14. I am only 3 1/2 months out but a friend told me (she stalled as well and is further out then myself) to change up your diet a little for stalls, sometimes adding or decreasing a usual food will help kickstart it back into gear. Just food for thought! (haha couldnt help it)
