Default Trying again

Hey all! I have been gone a while (after my miscarriage in July, I got really depressed and had to get through some things and at the time, this was not a great place for me). I had a chemical pregnancy so my doctor said that we could try again after a month off. So we did and in September...it worked! I tested last week with 4 tests (10/6) and got my beta's done on Wed and Fri last week. My first beta was 525 and my second was 1625. So I definetly doubled within 48 hours. My first ultrasound is on Monday 10/26, so they can check everything out. I should be almost 8 weeks by then. I am hoping we can see a heartbeat and some of my worries could be relieved.

So...I am reading up, trying to make sure everything is going well, but there is just not a lot of research on Gastric Bypass and Pregnancy. I am taking my vitamins and making sure I get enough to eat (although I am not sure I am because of the morning sickness at the moment).

So my due date is 6/14, can't wait!

I found keeping something in my stomach helped with the morning sickness. At 8 weeks you should be able to see the heartbeat at the u/s. FX that everything goes ok. Congrats!

Congrats! The 1st time you see your little baby is awesome. I still remember seeing the little peanut on the screen and thinking WOW that's my baby (she is 1 now ) June is a good month to have a baby because you don't have to spend the summer being pregnant!

Thanks everyone! I am so excited but very cautious because of the miscarriage last time. Kim---I get sick weather I have food in my stomach or not. I am trying to keep food in, but today, I barely ate anything. I know that is not good, but my doctor said for the first couple of months, please just try to eat something. Today was the first day I could not eat at work. All of the smells...they were killing me.

I too can't wait for the ultrasound, fx that everything goes ok!
