I wouldn't put too much stock in a dating ultrasound that early. Granted the two I had put me exactly where the little wheel said I was, even though I thought I ovulated a week later. You may get more ultrasounds later that will give you a better idea of when the baby is due. But either way, baby comes when baby wants and it's generally accepted that there's a 2 week margin of error on either side.

My doctor kept telling me I was going to have a 7 pound baby, well I had a 10 pound baby right on my due date... so if he was off by 3 pounds, maybe your doc is off by a week or so!
Congratulations and take care of yourself, most importantly, just enjoy!!!

Ha ha, yea I remember that one too. When I was 18 they said my son would be no more than 5 lbs and 17 inches. Well 1 week later, I gave birth to a 9 pound, 22 1/2 inch boy. I will remember that through out this. My daughter was 7 lb 13 oz and 18 1/2 inches. No 5 pounders here.

And speaking of baby weights, I went to some garage sales and this lady had all these clothes brand new, still tags and all. Well I kind of got scared to ask but then she volunteered the information why they werent used. Her baby was a premie, born at 26 weeks, weighed only 2 lbs 3 ozs, and was 12 inches long. I was scared she was going to tell me something happened to him, but no, she said he was in hospital for over 3 months, and never got to wear alot of the clothes, but now he is a rowdy little 18 mth old running and jumping and has no problems at all. She even had a bunch of premie clothes and let me tell you they would not fit some of the dolls my niece has. Needless to say I made out with alot of stuff for $20 bucks. I just love garage sales.
I just realized I am rambling on and on.

I am a yard sale shop a holic. My husband is too though, which is a good thing. My son freaked out because I bought bottles at a yard sale. But I am like hey, buy new nipples and bleach the bottles and I am set. If bleach can kill the aids virus and parvo in dogs, Im ok with that. Hell I have the bed, a cradle, a changing table with 3 drawers and a pull out for diapers and wipes, a glider rocker, a horse jumping thing, a swing that lays down with a mobile, vibration and music, a listening device, clothes, a johnny jump up (step daughters), pictures frames, and complete nail set (brand new still sealed), all for less than $100. I already put diapers, wipes, bottle bags, some more onesies, and sleepers, some clothes diapers, and a car seat on layaway at Kmart. I am going to be ready. My husband and I decided that each week we will buy one pack of diapers and wipes all varying sizes of course, just to help ourselves out. It is easier that way.
My son moves out this weekend and we are moving all the kids around to make a room for the baby. My husband says I am crazy that on this part we have time, but I like being prepared. He also says I am crazy because we all know the baby will be in the room with us and the room will be just storing stuff. My daughter was with us until she was 10, and my grandson is with us still and he is going to be 5. We were laughing the other night, because my husband was telling my grandson how we would all be sleeping.
It will be grandma, then Sonic(BABY), then Kai then Grandpa. My grandson got mad and said "grandpa I dont think so", Sonic is sleeping by you and I am by grandma. She has to rock me night night. I think someone is spoiled just a bit.

Don't forget about all the goodies you get at your baby shower. I still have clothes that my little lady hasn't worn because we got SO much stuff. My family & friends where VERY generous to us! Course it helps to have 41 people there also.

You guys are making me baby crazy!!! I would LOVE to have another baby... but hubby had a vasectomy 4 years ago. I just stopped taking the pill (figured why take it?) ~ wonder what my chance are that maybe he'll have a swimmer that gets through?! oh, well, I'll live through all of you!
