Not necessary. Women in sub-saharan africa have almost identical breast milk to those of us with abundant resources. Our bodies take what the baby needs and leave us in the lerch. That is why your calcium levels go down after breastfeeding - your body puts the baby first, so no worries.
ALso, after your baby weans, your body rebuilds the bones and they are stronger than before. Used to be they thought breastfeeding increased osteoperosis, then the found out it did the opposite. Cool, eh?
