I ate any and everything. Now I am supposed to eat 1k more calories per day cause the baby isnt gaining weight which might be a milk production issue. /Sigh! I am still losing weight though.

I eat when my body tells me to. I eat more than I did before I got PG but now I burn a heck of a lot more calories than I did. Just try to make the best choices. Right now I LIKE fruit!

I had to eat every 3 hours, or I would get extremely nauseous. Now, I have to force myself to eat. Like Tammy, I don't think I'm getting enough calories, as I'm not producing very much (if any) milk. I have another lactation consultant meeting tonight, and I'm going to bring that up, as it's not been discussed previously.

Jeanie - during the last month I craved blueberries so badly (and indulged) that at least one time my pee smelled like blueberries. Just watch it on the tropical fruits near the end as it's been said they can bring on labor.

Really I didn't know that about tropical fruit. Well when I'm close to my due date I'm going to live on that stuff...lol

I eat whenever my body tells me (about every 3-3 1/2 hours) otherwise I get light headed or nauseous.

I am apparently getting enough in because at my 5 month check-up this morning, my Dr. informed me that I have gained 15 lbs. and he said to keep on doing what I have been doing.

I still never have that hunger feeling so I really eat by the clock. I to crave fruits, and believe it or not I can stomach carbs, (eg. a bagel with cream cheese in the morning. I can only get a half of one in but I used to dump SOOO bad on bagels and other breads, now i crave them so I gotta watch it.

1000 extra calories needed per B's pedi for me. She also put me on Reglan which is for gastric issues but my milk is overflowing atm. Just have to make sure I you dont have a history of depression with that med.
