Question Got a ???

OK for all the Mommies out there. I'm a little over 4 months pregnant, and all though my pants are geting tight you can't tell that I have a baby in there. Should I be worried about that? I know that sometimes on a 1st pregnancy it can take longer to see the bump, but I thought I would have something by now.
Also please remind me when I'm big and pregnant that I was at one time complaining that you couldn't see a bump.

When I was pregnant 4 years ago, I gained a total of 6 pounds. 4 of those being in the last two weeks! I was bigger then but you would have never known I was pregnant until right before delivery, much less with a 9 pound baby. Girl be happy. That bump will come soon enough. Congrats on the pregnancy.

Jeanie! Our lovely lil' momma! Although everyone is different, it'll take at least this long to start showing for your 1st pregnancy. Looooooooooooong ago when I was preggers with my 1st, I didn't show until I was 6 months along. Then, BOOM, I was out there! Like a basketball straight out front (it was a girl).

The tightness in your pants you are feeling is a good sign though! And as long as you are seeing the doc and taking your prenatal vitamins, you are good.

Perfectly normal girl. Your baby starts most of the big growing that you will "see" in a cute little "bump" at around 6 months. Your bump will be here for everyone to admire soon!
I remember how much I loved to "hold" by baby in by belly when I had my bump!
Congrats~!

Awe Jeanie! THe baby will start showing before you know it! I think I was 6 months before it showed I was pregnant and not just over weight. You are gonna be sporting the cutest bump before you know it. With your super flat tummy its gonna be a cutie too!

I just worry that something is not right. Must be 1st time jitters. Good thing is I haven't had to invest a ton of money (yet) into clothes.

Jeanie,

I didn't feel or look preggers untill about six months.I saved my weight gain and the "BUMP" till the 6 1/2 month mark. The last few weeks , I put on about three lbs a week.

How very exciting for you.Do you know the sex?I delivered a 10'6 oz Baby Boy 11 years ago, currently a 5'5, 118lbs 5th grader

Congrats!!

Hey Jeanie:

I am just five months (24 weeks) and I just stared to see something bigger than a little pot belly.

When I were tight cloths you can tell I'm prego, but when I were maternity clothes that are loose and baggy you cannot tell.

Trust me, you will show soon!

Have you felt the baby kick or flutter yet?

I think that I have felt the baby but not 100% sure. We will find out the sex of the baby next month. Then we can start to fight over name.

I was around 5 1/2 months when I started showing with my first one and he ended up being 10 lbs 15 oz and is now 6'3" and around 300 lbs and shoulders as broad almost as the doorways in our house with a size 15 shoe! So, you will see it soon. Just give it a few more weeks. (I KNEW we had something else in common Amy) lol Atleast yours is not as tall as mine YET!
