Wow! Congrats on your fantastic news! Man, I'm gonna have to stay away from the water you lot are drinking around here!

Seriously though - it was obviously mean to be if it happened on the first try - you're going to be a great mum from what I've seen.

Thanks everyone. I really never thought it would happen for me. I'm glad that I am now healthy and able to have a good prenancy and not have to worry too much. Of course I'm scared because I can eat more. I try to make it good choices. So far I've only craved garlic and fruit.......not together though!

Congrats to you Jeanie!!

That is awesome!

The weight gain is no big deal... I am 21 weeks out, due in August and have only gained 10 pounds. Dr. says that is right on for a bypass patient.

I am so happy things worked out for you in your planning! That rocks!

Best wishes to you

This is good to know. My doc says I should be on track to gain 20-25 pounds. I'm OK with that.

I don't have a scale, so I have no clue how much I gained. I want to say between 20 and 30 pounds, but I could be wrong. I don't even know how much I weigh now. I do know that my size 12 jeans are almost fit-able. I can get them up, just not zipped or buttoned...and with the c-section it hurts too much anyways. But...I did go from my large maternity jeans down to my medium maternity jeans....so that's something good for only being 2 weeks post baby-bump-ectomy.

Sounds like you are doing great! How's little Emily doing? Are you still coming out in May?
