Oh Tammy, he is so beautiful! You did excellent work--how hard was it on you?
And what was the whole name that won the prize? Did your tummy go down immediately?

I'm so happy for you, Darlin', and thank you for posting the pictures. If you ever need a baby sitter, we'd be happy to help you out. Will you bring him for show and tell on Tuesday at Rain's?

I vow to take complete responsibility for Brandon's safety and well-being, and Michelle has also taken a blood oath to protect the little man.

Tammy, Dear,
Thanks so much for bringing 'Little Nugget' to the group last night. He is sooo beautiful! I haven't held such a 'fresh one' since my own babies, which was 28 long years ago, so thanks for feeding my baby jones! Michelle also went on and on during the ride home.

I thought you were aglow while you were pregnant, but it pales compared to the love that radiates out from you now that Brandon is here. We're so happy for you, Darlin'!

Should you need a babysitter and are heading down to this part of town, just call--we would be happy to stare, er, watch him for you. Maybe it will satisfy my fervent wish for a grandchild.

Give him a kiss on his sweet smelling baby head!

Thank you Donna! It was great to see everyone last night and very refreshing to get out of the house if even for a few hours.

I can't imagine a greater love than that I have for Brandon. Dave and I are simply in awe every day.

Dad has even taken to calling him "nugget" lol.

I know the feeling, Tammy. When I had Sarah, Steve and I were walking the halls and stopped by the nursery to look at her through the window. (Times were simpler then..) and as we stood there looking at her while she slept, I was overcome with the love, and couldn't believe that we had created an actual human being, and one so perfectly beautiful. And I'll never forget when they laid Jay in my arms for the first time. He was remarkably alert, and when I spoke to him he focused his eyes (and don't believe the crap they tell you about how they can't see yet) on me, as I spoke to him. I knew he was my last baby, as I had had them tie my tubes while they were in there, so having him was all the more tender. I'll never forget the words I spoke to my new child, and he was fixed on this voice he had been listening to for 9 months.

No matter what one's faith is, looking at the miracle we create with our love is a drop to your knees moment. If you have any more children, it will be just as miraculous and another door in your heart will open to love your new child just as much as you love Brandon. It's a very inspirational event, and I'm so happy to have been witness to it, even just a moment of it. Thanks for coming, and thanks for bringing your new heart's desire.
