Default coming to town??!!??

So you are planning to make a San Diego run? When will you be here? Will you have any time to get together with TTers?

Geez, Jenny, you shouldn't have to plan your own baby shower! Why doesn't your sister do it? You should be free to be the guest of honor...not the host!

It would be fun to get together with you here if time permits. Still have our numbers? You and Tracie could compare bellies!

Jenny - sweetie. I fit everything into an Audi sports car that I had left for crying out loud when I drove out here. I think I could easily pack your car with suit cases to make it look like you were just traveling to see relatives so you don't have to pay those nasty fees - without price tags, how are they gonna tax you anyways?! Oh - hey - heres an idea - it could be cheaper than import fees too: rent one of those minivans (unless you already have one) that have the storage in the floor area - you could smuggle families in those things!

And the zip line sounds like so much fun, Mike - we should try to find a way to do it without getting into trouble...take that to your drawing board

It all depends on when my W-2's get here so I can do my taxes. I'm hoping sometime in mid-late Feb. I don't know if there's a point where the airlines won't let me fly any longer without a doctor's note though. I should check on that. If I do get to come, it will probably be a Thursday - Tuesday thing so save on airline prices.

As of yet, I don't know where I'd stay or how I'd get around. The main goal of me coming is to arrange to have some of my things shipped from my storage unit, and to see some family and friends.

In regards to the baby shower....please my sister actually do something for someone that doesn't benefit herself? I just figured I'd register at a few places, give all my friends the info and see what came of it. /shrug who knows. If I'm able to get down there, perhaps we can plan something small and impromptu.

And Whitney, it's a good idea. I'm still trying to figure out the visitor's permit thing. It's almost time for me to renew it anyways. I'm a little scared they'll tell me no.
