Red face Changing Hospitals

I figured I would post a litle update to keep this thread going. I am starting a new job that requires me to move to a different part of Germany. Although there is a US army base there, I am told that I will have to have my baby at German hospital. I am a little nervous about that because of procedural and language differences. I have an appt next month to see the German doctor. Wish me luck. I have heard from friends however if you have a c-sect. in the German hospital, it is procedure to automatically do a mini-tummy tuck when they sew you back up. Now that doesnt seem to bad. I had my 19 week ultrasound and the baby didnt cooperate and show us what it is. My Husband was home from Iraq for 1 week and got to go to the appt with me, but no luck. Other than that I seem to be able to get alot of food in and dont feel ill at all. Anyone had a foreign birth? Hope you all are well, cheers!

My friend had her baby in Germany and didn't have anything good to say about the experience. Not to scare or worry you at all...she was in labor for 24 hours AFTER her water broke. That long in labor with the water already broken and she'd have had a c-section in the US. She wasn't happy at all.
