Default Amari is gaining the weight I want:)

Hey TT Family,

I thought I would share a little update with you all. Well Amari is now 2 months old.......and is chubby as can be! They have referred Amari to an infant gastro doctor and he will be having some GI test done on the 19th to see why he vomits all the time and insists on eating every 1-2 hours. They said his weight gain is out of control.....I secretly wish he would share his weight with me They said at 2 months old he should not weigh 17.8lbs and be wearing 6-9 month old clothing! Yep he is a chubby!

Well here are 2 pictures so you can see how he is changing!

ENJOY

My youngest gained a lb a week for the first 4 months. The docs were having serious heartache over it...and it kinda made me mad. One doctor wents so far as to tell me to quit breastfeeding so much and to give the baby bottles of water instead. Whatever. The baby then weighed the same for almost a year as he leveled out with his height/weight. He is now almost 2 and weighs only 3 lbs more than he did at 4 months. (He is 27 lbs now and in the 50% for height and weight)

He is beautiful. I hope you figure out what is causing the gain, but I wouldn't worry...babies grow at their own pace and I am sure his weight will level off soon.

Tracie,

They told me the same exact thing, they said stop feeding him so much, I said I can't he will scream and he will not take his pacifer as a replacement, they told me then to subsitute every other bottle with water. YEAH right..He is not having that...I am still feeding him when he is hungry....

I am hoping the new doctor I see on the 19th can give me some educated answers!

Hows your pregnancy coming along??
