Thank you........
Good Morning TT Family,
Thank you all for the kind words. It is great to be home and getting into a routine. Sorry I have not had the chance to upload anymore pictures but my life seems out of order at the moment.
Since I brought little Amari home I have been on my own and I didn't realize it was going to be this hard...Woooooooo a C-section hurts...I didn't realize how uncomfortable I was going to be and how difficult "normal" tasks would be these days. I guess I have been struggling through the pain and did a little tooooooooo much and opened my incision up the other day trying to clean the bath tub...So I wont do that again. And last night I tried to roll over on the coach and my oh my I thought I ripped everything inside out...So I am going to take a few steps back and just concentrate on taking care of me and baby and trying to heal properly.
My older kids are leaving today to go with there father for a few days so I am hoping to catch up on some rest while they are gone.
Well that is the update for now...Thanks again and as soon as I have the energy I will get some more pictures posted...

Uh, Renee?
Did it occur to you that you just had your abdomen opened up? That in addition to all the aspects of new motherhood (hormones, milk, etc etc) you have had a major surgery? I"m going out on a limb here and thinking that the doctor didn't encourage you to go home and clean bathtubs. (mild rebuke). No lifting over 10 lbs, no vaccuuming, no floor scrubbing, just to name a few....
We'll see more of Amari when we see him. I thought your mom was coming to help you? Sweetheart, this is when you need the help. You have 6 weeks of recuperating to do--honor your body with the 6 weeks and you will feel better sooner than if you struggle through it. I speak from experience (2 C-secs) Pushing the envelope now just makes it a longer slower recovery. I urge you to only chase after Amari when he runs around, and to ratchet it back a point or two for a bit. If you have done enough to open your incision, you have done too much! Take better care of you, k?

Thanks Donna...
I sure learned my lesson that is for sure..I always push everything to the envelope. I have been like that since I was a little girl, if I would feel a tad bit better I would go, go and go then take 20 steps back...I am going to try and relax and get as much rest as I can.

Oh, Grrlfriend, I know your pain. Even though it feels like your innards are going to come right out onto the floor, you feel like you've got to make yourself "useful". It's the bane of my existence. Life decided to take my "envelope pushing into its own hands, and now I am so disabled I can no longer clean bathtubs (unless it's the only thing I do all day long...) Our bodies have limits. I have discovered mine. I don't agree with the restrictions, but sometimes our flesh has other ideas, and our bodies will not be denied. You're only 29, and that is your blessing, but every abuse you heap upon yourself now will come back to haunt you when you least expect it or desire it. I wish you an easy, hassle free recuperation. There are 4 little ones and 1 big one who need you very much! (not to mention yourself! )
And gotta say, you did some excellent work with Amari--he is so beautiful! That is one of the perks of a c-sec...the babies don't have to work so hard to get here and it shows on their little heads. I love the smell of baby heads....

Congrats on the birth of your new bundle of joy. I am glad to hear that things went well for you. Amari is definitely a cutie. Don't worry, once he hits the sun a bit, his complexion will change. Then he will be your cute little mocha drop.

Hehhehe
When Amari was born and they showed me him I thought whos baby is that? Then my second thought was OH MY OH MY my husband is going to be taking me on the Maury show he is never going to believe that is his little baby. As soon as the peds came in I asked her right away why is my sons skin so light? She laughed and said you know he is a mixed baby so he has a 50/50 chance...I made sure I asked while my husband was there At his 1 week appt I asked again and she told me the reason he is so "red" may mean that he eventually will get a little bit darker...Phewwww Even though my husband is not saying anything I can't imagine that hasn't crossed his mind..
